Your Ottawa Estate Planning Council
The Ottawa Estate Planning Council was founded in 1952 by George Perrin.
The Ottawa Estate Planning Council (OEPC) is an organization of professionals from interrelated disciplines such as legal, tax, financial planning, insurance, trust and charitable gift planning who advise the public on different aspects of estate planning. The OEPC was founded in 1952, by the patriarch of the Ottawa Life Insurance industry, the late George Perrin.
The OEPC presents a regular program of continuing education and networking meetings for its members.
The Ottawa Estate Planning Council meets seven times a year, usually on the first Tuesday of the months from October to April at the Rideau Club to share experience and ideas. At each meeting a featured speaker is invited to present on a current topic and how it is related to estate planning.
