Leslie Ballard

From her early days as a student at Carleton University, Leslie knew that Wealth Management was where she wanted to be. While working toward her undergraduate degree in Finance, Leslie began her career in Corporate Finance at MBNA. Fifteen years later, she leverages her strong analytics background and personal touch to build deep connections with her CIBC Wood Gundy clients. Leslie’s clients and colleagues appreciate her dedication as well as her analytical and energetic approach to building personalized wealth solutions. Leslie is also a Certified Financial Planner Professional and is working toward becoming a Portfolio Manager.

Leslie has a passion for sharing her financial planning knowledge with her clients and with the community. She helped launch a millennial-focused awareness and fundraising campaign with the board of directors for the Snowsuit Fund, a charity that raises funds to buy snowsuits for children in need. She is also an active member of the planning committee for Women in Wealth Ottawa and is a community event coordinator for her neighbourhood.

When she’s not working hard building wealth for her clients, Leslie enjoys her downtime with her husband, Martin and two active boys, Mason and Lincoln, as well as hosting get-togethers for friends and family at their home in Stittsville.
